2023 Les Terrasses Chinon Rouge is a classic expression of Loire Cabernet Franc, just how we like it! It is fresh and bright with crunchy red fruit and green notes, bright acidity and a medium-body. Varietal: Cabernet Franc
Region: Chinon AOC, Touraine, Loire, France
Soils: gravel/sand
Farming: organic/biodynamic, manual harvesting, sorting table in the cellar and vats by conveyor belt
Yields : approximately 45 hL to 50 hL/ha vines 10 to 25 years old
Vinification: maceration in concrete vats for 14 days followed by aging in concrete vats for 6 to 12 months, native yeasts, no added sulphites
ABV: 12%
