There is something quietly arresting about Pont Caffino. Pale gold in the glass, it opens with a nose of lemon zest, crushed oyster shell, and white peach, pure and restrained, with an undercurrent of river stone that speaks directly to its riverside terroir. On the palate, native yeast fermentation adds a subtle textural lift, while extended lees aging gives the wine a silky, almost glycerol weight that broadens without blurring. Flavours of poached pear, fennel frond, and sea salt carry through to a clean, mineral finish with real length. This is Muscadet with the precision of top Chablis, terroir-driven, unhurried, and built to last.

This Pont Caffino cuvée is a parcel selection, located on the first hill overlooking the Maine and the Pont Caffino quarry, vines 30 to 70 years old. Single Guyot pruning system.
Tilled soils. Yield 35 hl/ha. Manual harvest. Pneumatic pressing. Light clearing from 12 to 18. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged on them for 7/8 months.
