We have been waiting a long time to get these mags of Calvados into the province, we first spotted them in some cool spots in Montreal and just loved the look of the bottle on the bar. Luckily, these mags are not just cute, they are filled with quality apple brandy from our favourite cider producer Julien Fremont. The apples were pressed in 2015, made into cider then aged for 2 years in 6000 litre oak barrels, distilled and moved into 400 litre new old French oak barrels for 2 months (for oak flavours), then to old 400 litre old oak barrels for 5 years of ageing. Julien is a natural cider and Calvados maker, adding zero chemicals.

Winemaking: Distilled in 2017 with a column still which makes it possible to produce very fruity and light eaux-de-vie that can be drunk quite young.
